Sandown House

If you appreciate the personal touch when staying away from home, look no further than Sandown House. Located in Nairn, 16 miles east of Inverness, this inviting guest house sits on the site of a former dairy farm. Well-placed for lodgers to explore the area’s unrivalled beaches, as well as the popular Nairn Museum and Golf Club, Sandown House promises a thoroughly relaxing stay. It’s easy to see why it was the recipient in 2015 of a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, having achieved 98% positive feedback. The hotel also scooped the coveted award of Best B&B at the 2012 Golf Tourism Scotland Gold Standard Awards. With a heavyweight reputation to protect, you can be sure the staff at Sandown House will make every effort to ensure your stay is a memorable one. Some of the exquisitely decorated bedrooms in the property benefit from private terraces offering dramatic views of the Black Isle and Moray Firth; keep your eyes peeled and you might even be lucky enough to spot a dolphin. The luxurious bathrooms also come with complimentary bathrobes and toiletries. With hospitality this good, you could be forgiven for electing to kick back and enjoy a cosy evening in: if so, you’re certain to appreciate the flatscreen TV, satellite channels and babysitting service

Such a lovely room. Spotless and beautifully furnished. Liz was so welcoming. The breakfast was first class. From the homemade bread which my husband couldn't get enough of to the very good quality ingredients. Thank you Liz. Will be back., By the way the cookery book was waiting for us when we got home.
